About sleepless

sleepless started this conversation

hi, i am self employed father of 3, i work seven days a week, ive done well till this economy meltdown, im in the restaurant business, as you all know we are all suffering very bad right now, i cant pay my business mortgage,im behind on my house mortgage, i lost every investment ive made in the last 10 years, im fighting with everything ive got left, 3 years ago the banks were telling me i have plenty of equity, so i remodeled my place, now they tell me im upside down, i feel like a victom here, i suply jobs to around 30 people here, thats 30 family survive from my place, everyone but me, im greek born in brazil and im 49 years old, i dont know what to do anymore, im sleepless, i cant eat, and worst of all how do i go home someday and tell my family that weve lost everything we got, including college funds.

If theres anybody in this world that would be able to give me a loan covered by anything that i have left in order for me to get thru these rough times i would just about give you my soul as well as everything left just to save my business and home.

Im not to sure if theres an angel of help out there for hard working greeks like me, but if there is im willing to do everything and anything i have to in order to save the little bit i have left and also assure my faithfull emplyees of theyre familys next meal.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND MAY

GOD SEE THAT WE ALL GET THRU

Well, Angelo, I'm not greek, but I do love the food!!!

Seriously though, as for your home mortgage ( and possibly, your business, too) check with NACA  they may be able to help you.

For college for your children, have them apply for fafsa -it is government funding to assist with their college tuition. Also check with the student services at their schools or guidence offices for additional funding

you can also check with the small business administration  - for assistance with your business...and grant programs available to you and your business

entrepreneurship.gov - also has some resources that may help

score - has more helpful information

grantgate is another great tool to use when looking for grants

I hope this helps...good luck! and thank you for helping so many families!

There are some houses in Illinois, i think. They can be bought for cash, and no mortagage payments. Some are in other states, but i would have to look, to be sure about Illinois.

You can buy these houses for cash. Around $800.00 to $2000.00 give or take a little. That would eliminate your mortgage payments, and may help you to get ahead. I will be happy to give you the information, if you think you might be interested.
